RBF Implementation - Jul 18, 2020
Over the past few days, I decided to take on the challenge of RBFs or Radial Basis Functions within Houdini. I got the idea after watching the talented Artem Smirnov’s R&D reel, specifically his work on Avengers Infinity War. Thanks to the little snippet he provided in his reel and some research revolving around the topic of RBFs, I was able to achieve these results entirely through VEX.
